Hey, I'm Tim.
I'm the one steering the ship at Cape Studios. I cut my teeth studying design and tech in Bristol back in the day (think endless cups of tea, grey skies, and way too many all-nighters tweaking layouts). That kicked off over 20 years of building websites – everything from tiny local spots to bigger beasts that need to punch above their weight online.
These days you'll find me based in St Just, that wild, wind-battered corner of Cornwall where the Atlantic basically throws itself at the cliffs every day. It's raw, it's beautiful, and yeah, it definitely rubs off on how we approach things – keep it stripped back, tough, and built to stand up to anything.

Cape Studios is pretty small and deliberately so: just me and a couple of sharp creators. No endless email chains or "let me check with the account manager" nonsense. You talk to the people actually writing the code. Direct, honest, and quicker.

We ditch the bloated templates and build proper custom stuff using tech that powers the big players. We're all about sites that are clean as a whistle, mobile-first, and optimized for real businesses—local cafes in St Ives or tradespeople in Penzance.

The aim is dead simple: help solid businesses get seen and make more money online, without the usual faff or rip-off monthly fees. No lock-ins, no hidden extras – just work that lasts and feels right for where you're at.
